Default Fridge fine, freezer warm..then all warm
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: eb22dkxfb01
Age: 5 - 10 years

We have a Whirlpool botom freezer fridge. The freezer section was warm (aprox 40 deg) and fridge around same. We decided to get a new fridge and repair this one for use in the garage. Fridge was cleaned inside and out and moved to garage and sat for a week un-plugged. Plugged back in last nite and temp in both compatments is the same as the air ouside the compartments. Air movement seems to be week.

thanks for the help

Leroy

Check for power to the compressor. If ok you have a compressor start relay going bad. Pry it off and check for continuity.

Your compressor may be open! The top pin has a klixon overlod device on it. Check ohms between this and either pin, They both should be around 4 ohm. One of them is probably blown open. Also, did you check that power is getting to the compressor?
