Default Fridge door not staying closed
Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 1 - 4 years

My 11 year old son decided to "swing" on the fridge door and now it is out of alignment. When you close the freezer door, the fridge door pops open just enough so it isn't sealed, but not enough to notice it if you aren't watching carefully. How can I go about adjusting the hinge so this stops happening?

He may have bent the hinge.

Can you please supply your model number?

The model number is on a tag in the fridge section with the serial number.

If the door appears to be warped, you will need to pull it off, place on a table and loosten all the door gasket screws to make unwarp it,then re-tighten. If not warped just use vaseline on the hinge side of the gasket and duck tape it closed overnight, should now seal ok.
