Can you please check your model number as I can't find it in our database.

It sound like you need to replace your defrost control.

With your model number I should be able to help.

The model number is found on a tag in the fridge section with the serial number.

What sensor did this guy disconnect?

Your fridge, with the partial model number that you gave, has a mechanical defrost timer so I am a little confused on what he has done.

In the fridge section of your fridge where the controls are there is a timer that controls when the fridge goes into the defrost cycle.

Here is a link to the part of your fridge model TFG27ZF.

The defrost timer is number 257.

Check behind the kick plate under the doors for the model number tag.

Check in the fridge section also for the tag with the model number on it.
