Age: 5 - 10 years
my freezer is cold the evap fan does't go on and the frig is warm. could the fan be gone?

I think it is your evaporator fan unless the defrost system is stuck on defrost not letting the fan run. Check fan here> Refrigerator Repair Guide: How To Test the Evaporator Fan - ACME HOW TO.com
