The fan in the freezer seems to run all the time. The refrig. box is freezing foods and liquids. I have turned the temperature control to the lowest setting and it still freezes. My landlord said he has unpluged the unit and then it works. I have not tried that yet. Can this reset the refrig? I live in Puerto Rico and things are not easliy done. Is this something I can fix?

With the newer models with the computer boards, unplugging it for 20 minutes may reset something.

The fridge is cooled by the fan blowing cold air into the fridge through a vent through the wall near the back. There is a damper which is adjusted by opening it more or less. Make sure it's not open all the way.
