My husband cleaned our coils on our fridge because we had ice build up on our freezer now there is no more ice but our fridge is not cooling properly any ideas?

How cold is the freezer? fridge? Was it the coils under the unit he cleaned or the coils in the freezer. Is the fan under the unit working. Is the fan in the freezer working.


Cold air enters the fridge through a damper or vent between the freezer and fridge. The evaporator fan in or behind the freezer blows the air through. There is an adjustment to open and close this vent to allow more or less cold air in.

The freezer works just fine dont know temp. it dont show it any where. There is only one little spot on the back of the fridge that you can take off on the bottom right and all i see is the compressor and fan no adjustment for vent.
