Question Freezer working fine, but fridge is warm
Brand: Estate
Model Number: tt14dkxew12
Age: More than 10 years

I woke up this morning and noticed my fridge was not cold. Checked the freezer and it was fine-what could the problem be?

The fridge may not have defrosted, check the back of the freezer and see if there is frost on the wall.

If there is the air flow is block off and can not get to the fridge.

In the fridge section in the control panel you will find a defrost timer.

You can manually advance the timer into the defrost cycle.

With the compressor run turn the knob on the timer.

If the fridge defrost you will have to replace the timer.

If it does not there is a problem with the heater or bi-metal.

It may also be a failed fan motor.
