 Freezer won't defrost anymore Brand: Gibson Model Number: RM18F5WX1C Age: More than 10 years
We have a Gibson refridgerator with small freezer/ice maker that's located inside the refridgerator - lower right hand side of fridge, and the freezer no longer defrosts. It started with a buddle of water, we unplugged it, took apart the freezer, and wasn't draining because of all the ice build up. Since it won't defrost, do we need the heater? or would we also need the thermostat and timer? Or what would case it not to defrost. When we had it apart, we noticed a black - burn mark on the side of the freezer, so something burned out. Any advice? duanes |
