Question Freezer woes
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 363.9502785
Age: More than 10 years

The problem is that the fill tube and fill cup are icing up.
After fill tube freezes and has ice in it, water pressure pushes it forward and allows water to leak by at the fill tube and grommet .

Leaking water then ices over evaporator coil.
Some ice cubes are made, but then fill tube freezes and stops.
Any suggestions???

Measure the freezer temperature, should be around 10 degrees, if too cold, fill tube will ice up.
If ok, you might have a slow fill water valve. Go to back and pull off panel. Swap the wires going to the two solenoids.
Go to the front and remove water from icemaker mold. Press fountain water switch for 9 seconds, mold should fill up. If not this confirms bad water valve or low water pressure to it.
