Brand: General Electric
Model Number: gss201embww
Age: 5 - 10 years

Not sure where to start looking.Compressor feels warm and is running .Frost ahs built up in the rear of the freezer

It is normal for the compressor to be warm.

Your fridge is not defrosting.

Can you please verify your model number as I can't locate it in our database.

To get your fridge to work properly turn the fridge off and defrost with a hair dryer.

You may have a faulty defrost heater or thermostat.

It may also be something in the electronic board.

With your model number I can tell more.

it is ge side by side i have defrosted it but i am seeing frost build up again

Check under the fridge for a test sheet.

It will be in an envelop.

You can run a test to see what part is faulty.
