Default Freezer warm/noisy
Brand: Gibson
Model Number: gfu16f7aw7
Age: 5 - 10 years

Problems:
1) outside of freezer is warm
2) fan motor is noisy
3) gurgling noise comiing from unit

background:
1) timer is working( I painted a dot on the knob and it is at different positions when checked randomly)
2) fan motor is working
3) coil is not frozen solid and does appear frosty

questions:
what parts do I replace in order to fix the problems?

thanks

The gurgling noise is a normal sound of the refrigerant moving through the sealed system.

The outside of the freeze will feel warm to the touch.

If the fan is noisy it will have to be replaced.

Here is a link to the parts of your freezer model gfu16f7aw7.

The side of the freezer feel warm most of the time. While the front feels cool. Is this normal?
