Default Freezer warm
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.54616300
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a Kenmore Elite sided by side. There was a power failure at some point today. The freezer was not cold enough when I opened it up. The ice cubes were starting to melt. The fan seems to be running, I beleive it is the compressor the comes on for a brief minute and then shuts off. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks,

Duane

If the fridge was running when the power went out and it came back on be for the system had a chance to equalize the compressor would not start and it click on the over load.

The best thing to do is unplug the fridge and wait 20 minutes and then plug it back in.

Here is a link to the parts of your fridge model 106.54616300.
