Age: 5 - 10 years

How can I determine that the freezer thermistor is defective? Would this cause the fridge to run contineously?

First of all is it freezing the food in the refrigerator? Ineed know this first before I can give you an idea of your problem. I can be reached at my website at ApplianceEducator.com Tom

Try this test with an ohm meter. Testing Thermistors with an Ohm Meter

The refrigerator side is OK (not freezing the vegetables) The freezer side is constant at -30C with the compressor contineously running.
