Default Freezer stops working, then starts again.
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FFU2024DW2
Age: 1 - 4 years

We have a Fridgidaire model FFU2024DW2 upright freezer, roughly three or four years old. We were on vacation, returned Friday to find a partially dried pool of red slime in the utility room. Looked in the freezer, and found that everything had obviously melted, but whatever hadn't leaked out while the freezer wasn't working had refrozen solid. I've spent the last few days cleaning up the mess, and trying to eliminate the smell. That seems to be almost gone, but I don't know what would go wrong on a freezer that would have it turn off, then turn back on again. Any ideas or suggestions?

The power wasn't out, the clock on our microwave flashes 0:00 if the power is out even for a second, it was still showing the correct time when we got home.
