MY SIDE BY SIDE FREEZER IS MAKING A LOT OF NOISE. I FIRST NOTICED ABOUT A MONTH AGO, THE KIDS HAD TURNED THE CONTROL UP TO 6, 4 BEING NORMAL. SO I TURNED IT OFF & BACK ON & NOICE STOPPED. BUT SINCE THEN, NOISE IS OFTEN USUALLY WHEN THE ICEMAKER IS FILLING. USUALLY IF I TURN THE CONTOL TO OFF & WAIT ABOUT 5 MINUTES & TURN BACK ON, NOISE GOES AWAY. BUT TODAY I NOTICED NOT NECESARILY THE CASE. COULD THE PROBLEM BE WITH CONTROL OR DEFROST OR COMPRESSOR?

Like airplane taking off. I thought might be fan? Very loud noise though. The higher over 4 on the control, the louder the noise. We cant stop the noise by turning off the control & back on as we have done in the past. There is water dripping/freezing from the ice dispenser now also.
