Default Freezer/Refrig. Issues

I have a Frigidaire Unit - side-by-side - not too awfully old, but I am it's 2nd owner. Have had an issue this summer with what appeared to be the defrost unit, as the control board was bad, and replaced by a technician. He also t/s the heater and thermostat at that time, and didn't see the need to replace either.

Fast forward 3 weeks, and the ice had built back up on the rear wall of the freezer, and upon removing the panel, the coils were, of course, covered in ice.

The unit is working - poorly, but I need to know where to go next. Also, upon pulling the unit out to clean the condenser coils, I noted a ton of ice on the line running to the compressor. I'm no rocket scientist, but I think one of the issues may lie there.

Please feel free to point me in the right direction.

Thanks!

It's still a defrost problem. See how to check the defrost heater and defrost thermostat here.

If they are ok it's back to the control board.
