Freezer Problem Brand: Other Model Number: ZFC -67/42 FF Age: 5 - 10 years Hi,
I have a Zanussi Fridge Freezer approx between 5-10 years old.
The fridge is working 100% fine. It is the Freezer, which is giving me complete power cuts to my whole home's power supply! It happens at least once a day and on a bad day 5 times! I have to keep putting the control panel switch from off to on plus also electrocution danger as well.
Here are some pictures to get a better understanding:- http://i22.tinypic.com/29o2upt.jpg
I have taking the screws out and broke ice and is now defrosting. The panel in the lower end of my freezer seems to be jamming up building up. The freezer is frost free and shouldn't be happening. I was shocked to see all the ice building up on top of the wires! which is causing my electricity to trip.
This is probably a better view http://i20.tinypic.com/257ngxe.jpg
Is this repairable? I heard that if you turn off your fridge freezer and tilt it upside down for 24 hours it saves you buying a new one I'm my case will need to dish out £400 as we have a big family!
Any replacement parts or fixes please let me know?
Thanks. |
