Has worked great until a couple weeks ago. I can defrost the freezer then it will freeze things for about a week then thhey start to thaw out a bit. Removed the back panel of the freezer and it's iced up (solid). After I manually defrost within 2 days it's collecting ice again and will eventually freeze solid again.

Defrost Thermostat?
Defrost Timer?
Freon??


Any help would be appreciated.

I've had this same exact problem! I replaced the gasket/seal around the freezer door as it had some wear, but it seems to be happening still-however, more time passes between defrostings, about 2 weeks. And now I notice the refrigerator door's seal is also torn at the bottom. I notice moisture/water collecting on the bottom of the refrigerator compartment. But the back of the freezer is still getting frosted and frozen over. Please help!
