Default Freezer not keeping food frozen
Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: RB21KN-4A
Age: More than 10 years

My freezer is not keeping ice cream frozen. I have checked all the settings and made sure that the vent in the back of the freezer is not covered.
The seals also appear to be OK
Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks!

Is the ice cream solid but soft?

Most fridges don't keep ice cream solid like a deep freezer.

If everything else is frozen then the fridge is working fine.

Thanks!
The thing that I am noticing is that the freezer is not keeping the ice cream as frozen as it has in the past, it is quite soft now and never was before. Some of the other food is frozen and some is not.
Bread for example is not.
Because of the difference in the ice cream etc it is leading me to believe that it is not working as well.
The seal seems ok although there is an amount of coolness you can feel around the the outside of the door when it is closed.
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Bread is another thing that does not freeze well in a fridge freezer.

As long as meat and vegetables and ice stay frozen there is nothing to worry about.
