Our freezer is not getting cold enough. I cleaned the coils which were extremely dirty. Still not cold. I removed the bottom panel on the back. The fan runs constantly, the compressor his hot. Temperature in the freezer will not get below 34 degrees. The door seals look ok.

Remove the back panel in the freezer section and see if there is an ice build up.

If it is ice up the defrost cycle is not working.

This could be caused by to adaptive defrost control located in the control panel of the fridge section or the defrost heater or defrost thermostat located in the freezer section.

If there is no frost on the coil in the freezer section you either have a restriction or a leak in the system.
