Default Freezer not cooling enough, fridge sorta ok
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: pss25ngna-ww
Age: 5 - 10 years

Ok so we thought the problem was the evaporator fan, so we replaced it ourselves. The fridge temp runs between 36-43, which isnt too bad, but the freezer will not go below 11. It stays between 11-15 usually. I also cant get any ice to make, the manual says it should start making ice if the temp stays below 15. Also I tried turning on the quick ice feature and noticed about 30 mins later there was no ice, but the freezer temp had shot up to 25. Anyhow know what the problem could be.

Default

Check and make sure that the controls did not get moved.

It seems that the sensor for the freezer may be faulty or the main control board.

Here is a link to your fridge model pss25ngna-ww.
