Default Freezer Light replacement
Brand: Amana
Model Number: can't find it
Age: More than 10 years

Hello,

I recently moved into a house which has an Amana top freezer referigerator. The freezer has a light but the bulb is burned out. I tried to see how the cover removes to replace it, but it appears that it is permanent, which makes no sense. There is a removable screw in the back of the cover, but there are three visible 'under' the cover in the front and it doesn't appear that there is any way to remove them.

Any suggestions? I can't find the model number, but I can see from the inside of the freezer door near the hinge it was made in 1996. It is at least 18.0 cft, if not larger.

Thanks!!!
A new homeowner

Model # TS19TW

The model number is either in the fridge section on a tag with the serial number or behind the kick plate.

I will need this to view your fridge.

Model # is TS19TW, or at least that is what the tag inside says.

There is one screw in the shield.

The shield can be removed once the screw is out.

Here is a link to your fridge model TS19TW.
