Default Freezer Icing in back
Brand: Amana
Model Number: BCI20BW
Age: 5 - 10 years

I noticed my freezer is icing up in the lower back of the freezer. Ice maker appears to have stopped dispensing (ie no water appears to be getting through). The refridgerator is cold, so it's isolated to the freezer.

Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Pull freezer back panel and defrost coils if frozen. If you only have frost on the lower section of freezer, you may have refrigeration system problems. After defrost, wait a good hour and check the freezer temperature with a thermometer. Should be below 10 degrees, if not, clean condensing coils and check temps again.Post results
