My Kenmore freezer on the bottom frig is icing over in the freezer and then the refrigerator won't cool.
This model is made by Amana and we think the problem is the heater evaporator but do not know how to figure out if it's working or not. Does anyone know how to do this?

There should be a technician sheet located under the fridge that will tell you how to check the defrost cycle.
