Default Freezer and fridge not working
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: gss22jfmb
Age: 1 - 4 years

evaporator fan not working, replaced fan, still not working.. coils are frosty and cold, still no fan.. what is left except the controller board?? are there any wiring diagrams avaliable?? looks like a cheap relay maybe, but which one out of 6???

Replace the mother board, it is behind the refrigerator, in a panel with three screws holding it in place. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

thanks guys for the reply; i was hesitant to buy another part without some info! thinking about rolling it down the road while it still moved easily, but i'll try the board first! don

I had the same problem with a GE Model PFS@@sis was about a year and a half old. The LED lights worked off and on and the temp in the fridge and freezer would go up and down. Called GE and apparently this is a ongoing problem and they replaced it free of charge under what they called a Main Board replacement plan. Apparently this was s design flaw and GE is fixing it. Good Luck
