Default Freezer freezing, refridgerator barely cool
Brand: General Electric
Age: 1 - 4 years

Please advise on possible problem when the freezer on top is still freezing, but refrigerator on bottom is barely cold. I've turned it on high but still no improvement.

Thank You.

Your freezer is not defrosting so the cold air can not get to the fridge section.

Can you supply your model number please?

It is found on the inside of the fridge on a sticker with the serial number.

I needed the refrigerator fixed quickly and had it repaired -- thank you anyway. I know the channel between the refrigerator and freezer was iced up, and he mentioned that the condenser was not working correctly, but he was able to fix it with out replacing any parts.

I am having the same problem. I have a Roper/Whirlpool Refrigerator. There is no sticker inside with model #. How do I clean block in "shute" between freezer & frig?

I am having the same problem with a GE Profile model# TFH24PR. All fans appear to be running. Checked for blockages but didn't see anything to unclog. How and where do I clean block in "shute" between freezer & frig?
