The Condinser or coil behind pannel in back of freezer freezes up and the fan to top of condinser wont run. Resaulting in freezer not freezing and frig, not cooling.

Locate the defrost timer in the front left hand corner of the fridge under the freezer door.

With the compressor running turn the knob of the timer until the compressor shut off.

The fridge will now be in the defrost cycle.

Check in the freezer section and see if the evaporator coil are defrosting.

If the coil defrost you will need a new defrost timer.

If the coil do not defrost you have a faulty heater or defrost thermostat.

They are located on the evaporator.
