Fridge will not get cold, regardless of settings. This problem happened exactly 1 month after the warranty expired in 2004. Repairmen changed the control panel that works the doors allowing the freezer air to enter the fridge, to the tune of $500. Any ideas to help troubleshoot this would be appreciated.

Check and see it the air diffuser door is iced over.

The diffuser is located in the fridge section in the top left corner.

The gate in the diffuser may be broken so it won't open.

It could be that the thermistor is not sensing the temperature.

There should be a technician sheet in an envelope under the fridge to tell you the test procedure.
