Like her people here i am suffering from "warm fridge" syndrome.

Freezer operates fine

fridge temp doesn´t drop below room temp.

most threads mention setting fridge into defrost by adjustment of the timer

where would this be located?

if this not the problem how to i check the heater and bi-mettalic?

have identified most parts but i´m seeking some expert advice please.....

I have no information on the Samsung brand but it should be like the other fridges.

The defrost timer is located in the control panel in the fridge section of the fridge.

If it is an electronic type then is will have a printed circuit board with at least four wires.

This one you have to use a jumper wire to engage the defrost cycle.

If it is a mechanical timer it will be a boxes looking unit with a knob on it that can be turned to place the fridge in the defrost mode.

If you manually defrost your fridge it will work for a couple of days.

Once you determine which type you have go to one of the other post and follow the instruction on how to test the unit.

I have the same problem it is GE Model GSS20IEPDWW side by side the freezer freezes fine refriderator stays 60+ Degrease I unpluged for a day pluged back in everthing was fine after 2 days It's back to refridge warm again and frezzer is fine,but i notice the bottom of side by refrige is little cooler out of bottom vent top is warm. any ideas.

i have a ge ice box. just about 2 yrs old. the bottom cools. the top will not kick on. we have reset the defrost timer. still nothing. any advise
