Does your freezer have a fan under it blowing on condenser coils. Make sure the fan is running.
If you don't have a fan, the coils are on the back of the freezer. Make sure the coils are clean and have plenty of room for air to circulate.

I don't see a fan, but took some pictures of the back, but don't know how to get them on here.

Condenser coil is on the back in your diagram part #1. Is it clean and clear of obstructions. It depends on natural air flow to take the heat away from the freezer. These coils should be warm when the freezer is running.

There is a fan in the freezer blowing on the evaporator coils. See if the fan works and see if the coils are iced up. Frigidaire Appliance MFU17F3GW8 Parts List

ok, we opened that and its not iced up and the fan is running. Is the compressor supposed to get so hot you can't touch it??? My other concern is that the freezer wont turn off at all, I turned it down to 1 and its been running all day nonstop.
Any input is appreciated

If there was not any frost at all on the evaporator coils and the freezer isn't as cold as it should be (10 degrees), I would guess you're low on freon which will require a technician to check. If the freezer is cold enough then your temp control is probably the problem. Raise the temp control and see if it turns the compressor off.

Thanks for all your help!!!
I put a themometer in there and it shows 0 degrees on all shelves. My temperature control goes from 1 to 7 with 7 being the coldest. I've had it set on 1 for 24 hrs now and its still won't stop running.
