 Freezer defrosts and refreezes and fridge not cold enough Brand: General Electric Model Number: GTS18SHPDRBS Age: 1 - 4 years
The freezer continues to defrost for a period of time and then refreeze…as evidenced by the ice cubes and by drops of water on the roof of the freezer that are at times in water form and at other times frozen (if that makes sense). I have turned the fridge up to 9 (the max setting) and it can barely maintain 44 deg – recommended temperatures for a fridge are 40 Deg F or lower. |
