I don't know if this works for all refrigerators, but what I had to do with my refrigerator when cool air would not go thru, was that I had to defrost it at least two days, but you have to be careful, water drips everywhere when you defrost. Mine is a whirlpool, about 1-5 yrs. The third day, I plugged it in and cool air is going thru. But you never know, don't take my word, well at least mine is working now. Good luck.

Answer me this if you open the freezer door, do you hear the evaporator fan motor running? Also look in the bottom of the freezer, at the back wall, and tell me if there is a frost build-up. I could be reached at my website at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
