Ok, like so many other people, my Maytag side by side is not cooling the fridge part properly. The coldest I can get it set on #9 is about 65 degrees. The freezer is -6 set The fan in the freezer part runs. Nothing is blocked. There is very little airflow into the fridge. Please help me figure out. Did the Evaporator freeze over? Should I take off cover to see if evapator is frozen over?

Cold air enters the fridge through a damper or vent between the freezer and fridge. The evaporator fan in or behind the freezer blows the air through. There is an adjustment to open and close this vent to allow more or less cold air in. It's your temp. selector that controls the opening. See if the vent will open and close. The problem could be mechanical with the door or electronic with a control problem.
