Default Freezer cold, Fridge not so cold
Brand: Kenmore
Age: 5 - 10 years

The freezer is very cold,(ice on the walls) and I have turned the temp for the freezer down and the fridge is "luke" cold and I have turned the temp up. It seems like the unit is running all the time. Do you think this is something i can fix or should I call out repair before the motor runs out. Any advice please, thank you. +
As I have continued to search this topic in your forum, it becomes clear to me that this is a defrost issue. Now my question becomes...Because I totally do not trust my ability to repair this issue myself.. could you advise if this is a costly issue to repair and could you offer a idea a repair cost?

The cost of the repair will depend on the cost of the part or parts and the labor charge.

Different companies charge different amount for service calls.

It is best to call around to get an idea of the cost.
