Default Freezer cold---fridge about 55/60 degrees
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 363.9762815
Age: 5 - 10 years

I have looked over other posts similar, but my freezer does not have any frost build up in the back. The coils do frost up of course.

The freezer works like a champ. There is cold air making it down to the fridge, not alot tho.(if I put a thermometer right by the out coming air it cools the thermo. to about 35 degrees), but it takes a long time to cool even to 50 degrees if the thermometer is in the middle of the fridge where you would normally have one. If I open the fridge all bets are off.

The thermostat on the coil in the freezer is working.

I advanced the timer till it shut off, 10 min later a little water was in the pan. It took 2 clicks( about 40/45 mins and defrost timer kicked everything back on. The freezer started cooling fast, but fridge never got colder that 50 degrees.

Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated

James

Is the fan in the freezer working?

Can you please verify your model number as I can not locate it in our database.
