Brand: Amana
Model Number: AUF150KW
Age: More than 10 years

About every 6 months, I have ice built up in the bottom of the freezer, and I have check the drain tube, its clear, the temp setting is on 4, what could be the problem?

It is hard to know what is happening.

If the tube is clear the water should be draining away.

Have you moved the freezer to a different location?

Is the freezer level?

If you could catch it in a defrost cycle you may be able to see were the water is coming from.

The timer can be manually set to defrost .
