Thumbs up Free magaritas! hot times!
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: GC5SHEXNS
Age: 1 - 4 years

Repost since I'm getting no responses......did search, read ACME site...still a little unclear.
No ice production. Water available in door but can't tell if ice maker is getting water or not. Freezer is the proper temperature. Ice trays are only 1/4 full of ice. What are the diagnostic steps to get at this problem?
Valve going to ice maker? (where is it) then on to module?
Thanks in advance and have a great day.....if I get his fixed and you are in Asheville, NC....stop by for a cold and icy margarita!

Default

You can check your water inlet valve here. Refrigerator Repair Guide: How to Check the Water Inlet Valve - ACME HOW TO.com

You can swap the wires on valve and push dispenser switch and water should come out ice maker to let you know if the ice maker valve is working.
