Hi,
My wife and I recently ordered and received some filters from ya'll for our fridge. I thought that I needed a new filter in order for the ice maker to work as it had stopped. I installed the new filter and when I press and hold the filter button, the light stays lit. It seems that it would go out. It also has a color indicator light that goes from green to red as the filter "ages". It will not reset to green and it has been 4-5 days.
The icemaker is not getting any water to it, we do get water to the dispenser in the door. I have read other threads that suggest turning off the fridge to allow it to reset. I have tried this to no avail. Any other ideas??

Check in your owner's manual for the procedure for resetting the the water filter.

The water valve may be faulty not allowing water to the ice maker.

There are two valves one for the dispenser and one for the ice maker.
