Am having the same problem, so I ordered the control board. However, I cannot seem to find where it installs.

I removed the cover in the top center of the refrigerator (where the thermostat controls are), however the part there looks completely different than the one I received.

I assume that it is the correct one, I spoke with GE and got it from partselect. I hope i have the right part, but am just looking in the wrong place...

If you are having the same problem as Mesquiter the board that he replace is behind a panel at the back of the fridge.

What is the model number of your fridge?

What is the part number that you have order?
