Default Excess Condensation in Refrigerator
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: gallery
Age: 5 - 10 years

My refrigerator has developed a condensation problem inside. I have to soak up a puddle of water under the bottom tray. I checked the seal around the door and it appears to be OK. Anyone have any idea what else could cause this to happen? Thanks.

It is likely the drain that is blocked.

Can you please supply your model number.

It should be on tag with the serial number either in the fridge section or behind the kick plate.

Hi Sheila,
My model # is FRS26ZSHB4. The water just collects at the bottom of my refrigerator and I need to pull out the vegatable drawer and remove water.

Now that I have the breakdown of your fridge I would say that you have a leak in the water tank that is located behind the crisper draws.

Here is a link to your fridge model FRS26ZSHB4.

Hi Shiela,
Many thanks for the info. You hit it right on the head. I removed the part and spiced a 50' roll of hose and no more leak. Thanks again!!!
Tom
