Default Elec.feedback from frig to the rest of the house
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: ET8WTEXKQ02
Age: 5 - 10 years

yes i have a 5 year old whirlpool refrigerator freezer on top, anyway the problem i'm having is a elec. interference from the frig to the rest of my house, now my house is only 5 years old..i first notice the problem being in my cordless phone with a buzzing sound, phone company came out everything check out fine, time went by with the buzzing ,when i notice that the tv had a slight interference on the screen so i thought i would go to the breaker box and start turning breakers off,and there it was the frig breaker,to make sure i plug the unit in two different circuits and no change, its refrigerator, can any one tell me what motor or part in this unit that could be causing this mess???...p.s. there's only a interference when the frig go's throw a cycle..thank you for your time...

Could not find a wiring diagram for your unit but the first place I would start is the ground. Make sure the machines power cord is properly grounded. Make sure the power receptacle is properly grounded.

You will need an ohm meter set it to lowest ohms scale and check continuity
Power cord ground should be 0 ohms to freezers chassis/frame

Receptacle ground should be 0 ohms to the box
If you have copper plumbing receptacle ground to a pipe should be very low ohms or 0. Make sure this line is properly grounded in the breaker box. I have seen a loose or even not connected ground in the panel.

If all is OK, there are filters you can buy to eliminate electrical noise
