Default Dripping Water From Bottom Of Doors On Both Sides Of Refrigerator
Brand: Other
Model Number: TSS48QBB00
Age: More than 10 years

Hello:

We have a Thermador side-by-side refrigerator. We recently found dripping water from bottom of the doors on both sides of the refrigerator, i.e. on both the freezer side and the fridge side. The water appears clean, which soak a paper towel on each side every few hours.

We have checked the defrost pan and the rubber around the doors, and did not notice any leakage or problem.

Please advise what we need to do to fix the leak/water dripping issue.

Thank you.

Surina

You may have two different problem.

If water is coming out of the fridge side and you have a water holding tank check it for a leak.

If water is coming out the freezer door check the drain in behind the back panel. It may be plugged.

Can you please verify your model number as I can't locate it in our database?

Sheila - thank you for your advice.

The Thermador model we have is TSS48QBB00, it is a 1996 model, side-by-side built in refrigerator.

Water is dripping on both sides, i.e. the freezer side and fridge side, down from the outer corners of the doors. The water appears clean. We have even cleaned the compressor coil last nite and leak still persists.

Please advise.

Thanks.
