Default Dripping
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 78162990
Age: 5 - 10 years

My refrigerator is a freezer on top, refrigerator on bottom model.
In the back of my refrigerator, there is a cowl covering something that is dripping at the top of the refrigerator.
It fills a 6 oz cup every 5 days.
Both freezer and refrigerator work fine.
Any Ideas?

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it. Once you get the ice out at the top a little air pressure will usually clear it out. Flush it out with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough. The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower back of the freezer.

check your model number to be sure it's right. I couldn't find a diagram with that one.

Thanks.
After looking at the serial number again, I realized I wrote it down wrong.
It is 10670162990
I assume I have to remove the base pan of the freezer to get to the tubes as there is no tubes visible with the base pan in.
Thanks for the help.

The back inside panel should be removed to expose evaporator coils and drain below it.
