Default Drip..Drip......drip
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FRS26R4A
Age: 1 - 4 years

Ok, I replaced the paddle for the front freezer door water dispenser after it broke off. I've been using the little stub that was left for a few months and it began to leak ever so slightly. I thought the new Actuator-Water (241682001) would do the trick in stopping the leak, but it's still happening. It stops after a few minutes but while it leaks it's coming out about a drop a second. Is the problem with the spring that staps the paddle back in place or is it a valve problem. The fridge doesn't seem old enough to have a problem with the valve already. Thanks

It sounds like there may be something sticky on the actuator so the lever is no returning the way it should.

Check the area for stick substances.

Here is a link to your fridge model FRS26R4A.

For a more detail parts list you will need the last two digit of your model number.
