Default In-door water dispenser / ice-maker problem
Brand: Frigidaire
Age: 5 - 10 years

The fridge in the house that I am renting has an ice-maker/water dispenser built into the freezer door. It will not dispense ice or water. However, the bucket inside the freezer for ice is full and generates new ice (we've just been reaching in and grabbing ice).

When I press on the lever for dispensing ice or water nothing happens (just a little click noise that I think is just the lever moving). There is no humming or grinding noise.

Any suggestions? Is there a book or a manual that I can get to see how this thing is supposed to be put together so I can do some more troubleshooting?

Can you please supply your model number?

It should be on a tag in the fridge section with the serial number.

There should be a test sheet in an envelope on the back of the fridge or under the fridge behind the kick plate.
