I have the same problem. My freezer door (left) will easily open a little bit when I close the right door. I start noticing this about 2 months ago. I have GE arctica which is about 22 months old when that happened.

Anybody know what is the problem here and how to fix it? I am not sure whether my fridge is still covered under warranty after passing 1 yr old.

Thanks all.

Does this only happen when the door is shut hard?

It would be caused by air pressure in the fridge.

Your fridge is only covered by a one year manufactures warranty.

Hi,
My fridge is 2 doors type. The freezer of the left and the fridge on the right.

What do you mean by "it would be caused by air pressure in the fridge" ? How do I avoid that from happening. Is that a defect or normal thing?

Is the left and right compartment connected by an air duck somehow so that if I close the door on the right, the left might be affacted?

Yes the two sides are joined by an air passage.

If the door is shut hard it is possible for the door to pop open.

You could call the manufacture to see if this is a problem with their fridges.
