In door icemaker doesn't work

Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 106.56534400
Age: 1 - 4 years
The water for the icemaker is not being "called" by the unit. The water line appears not to be frozen.
The water dispenser works.

Check the temperature in the freezer. It must be 5 degrees or below the ice maker to function.

Check the water inlet valve at the back of the fridge to make sure they are working.

Here is a link on how to test your ice maker.

Yesterday while removing the ice maker unit it "called" for water and the mold did fill. Today I do not have ice in the bin.
