Default Door Icemaker Dispenser Stays Open
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: TFHW24R
Age: More than 10 years
The flap on the ice dispenser stays open sometimes. I have checked the solenoid and it is good. If I touch the flap when it is open it goes click and closes properly. This happens about 3 out of 5 times you use ice. I have lubricated everything in this area.
Any help?

I am having the same issue, but mine is EVERY time I use ice. I also tried to clean/lube it, but it still sticks... Do I need to replace this 'flap'?
