I'm getting ready to replace the door gasket on this Gibson. Having never done this before, do I have to worry about the door warping when I loosen the gasket screws? Is there anything special I should be aware of before I get into this? Should the gasket be soaked in warm water before installation to make it more pliable?

Yes soaking the gasket will make the gasket more pliable.

For best resolutes you should take the door off of the fridge and lay it on a flat surface.

When tightening the screw be sure not to over tighten.
