Default Door Bushing Removal
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 596.70002003
Age: 5 - 10 years

It appears as if our refrigerator door is sagging based on the inconsistent gap between the refrig door and the bottom freezer door. Thus it is my guess that the bushings on the door need to be replaced.

Can someone give me an idea as to how I would remove the exisitng bushings?

Again I would guess that they are just pressed into place in the hole in the door frame but I dont want to damage the frame and need suggestions on how to remove them.

Thanks!

Pat

The hinge bushings just pop out.

You will have to use a small screwdriver.

Here is a link to the parts of your fridge model 596.70002003.
